Galvalume Roofing Sheet is manufactured from high-quality Galvalume steel coils coated with 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. This advanced coating combines the long-term barrier protection of aluminum with the sacrificial protection of zinc, providing outstanding corrosion resistance and durability.
Compared with conventional galvanized roofing sheets, Galvalume Roofing Sheets can offer two to six times better corrosion resistance and significantly longer service life.
Due to their excellent weather resistance, thermal reflectivity, and structural strength, Galvalume Roofing Sheets are widely used in industrial factories, logistics warehouses, commercial buildings, agricultural facilities, steel structure projects, and residential roofing systems.
SINO GROUP supplies a complete range of Galvalume Roofing Sheets with customized profiles, thicknesses, lengths, and coating weights to meet global project requirements.

The steel grade directly determines the load-bearing capacity, wind resistance, and long-term performance of roofing sheets.
For industrial buildings, logistics centers, and large-span steel structures, selecting the correct steel grade is essential to ensure structural safety and reduce maintenance costs.
Higher-strength steel can achieve the same structural performance with thinner material, reducing total project costs.
| Grade | Yield Strength | Typical Applications |
|---|---|---|
| DX51D | ≥240 MPa | Residential & Agricultural Buildings |
| DX52D | ≥260 MPa | Commercial Buildings |
| G300 | ≥300 MPa | Warehouses |
| G350 | ≥350 MPa | Industrial Projects |
| G550 | ≥550 MPa | Steel Structures & High Wind Areas |
The most common and economical steel grade, featuring excellent machinability and cost-effectiveness, suitable for residential, warehousing, and agricultural buildings.
One of the most widely used grades in industrial construction, balancing both cost and structural strength.
High-strength steel grades, particularly suitable for large-span structures, regions subject to high wind pressure, and steel structure projects.
AZ refers to the total aluminum-zinc coating weight applied to both sides of the steel sheet.
The higher the coating weight, the stronger the corrosion resistance and the longer the service life.
| Coating | Weight | Application |
|---|---|---|
| AZ30 | 30 g/m² | Temporary Buildings |
| AZ50 | 50 g/m² | Economic Projects |
| AZ70 | 70 g/m² | Residential Roofing |

AZ150 strikes an optimal balance between price and durability.
Compared to AZ100, it offers a 30% to 50% increase in service life with only a marginal increase in cost, making it the most widely adopted specification globally for industrial plants, logistics and warehousing centers, and commercial building projects.
The 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating provides significantly better corrosion protection than traditional galvanized steel.
The aluminum component forms a protective barrier that prevents moisture and oxygen from reaching the steel substrate, while the zinc component offers sacrificial protection at cut edges and scratches.
As a result, Galvalume Roofing Sheets typically provide two to six times the corrosion resistance of conventional galvanized roofing sheets.
This makes them especially suitable for:
Galvalume Roofing Sheets reflect a significantly higher percentage of solar radiation compared with conventional roofing materials.
This reflective property helps reduce roof surface temperatures and lowers indoor cooling loads, contributing to improved energy efficiency.
In hot climates such as the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and South America, this advantage can help reduce energy consumption and improve indoor comfort.
Depending on the plating specifications and operating environment, the product’s service life can extend to over 20 to 40 years.
Compared to standard galvanized roofing sheets, it significantly reduces the frequency of maintenance and replacement.
Manufactured using G300, G350, and G550 high-strength steel.
Advantages include:
Particularly important for steel-structure industrial plant projects.
Although the initial procurement cost of aluminum-zinc coated roofing sheets is slightly higher than that of standard galvanized tiles, their longer service life and lower maintenance costs result in a lower overall lifecycle cost.
For long-term operational projects, this translates into a higher return on investment.
